Eighty years ago a group of enterprising Cedar Valley
musicians founded the Waterloo-Cedar Falls Symphony.
This season we'll celebrate their labor of love and our eight
decades of local music-making with a series of unforgettable
performances and unique Iowa-based collaborations.

In addition to continuing Iowa's most intriguing and exciting
orchestral programming, we will mark our 80th birthday and
our 10th season at the GBPAC with a variety of community partnerships.
Among the highlights are the world premiere of a new symphony by an Iowa composer, a multi-media celebration of jazz and blues featuring artist Gary Kelley, and orchestral performances in Waterloo.
