Your year-end support

December 26, 2013

Last month a follower on Twitter wrote to us about our Kristallnacht concert:

100% the most meaningful and beautiful symphony concert I have ever been to.

His comment encapsulated a sentiment echoed by many others in attendance that unforgettable November afternoon. As has been the case all year, our presentation practically defined what makes live performances so compelling. Another patron expressed it well:

If ever a concert demonstrated the power of music, that was it.

We believe in changing lives through meaningful encounters with live music, and in concert after concert - from our debut at RiverLoop to our special evening with Brandi Carlile to the incredibly moving Kristallnacht collaboration - we have been able to achieve that goal. Your support makes it possible. Thank you.

The calendar year is coming to a close but we are in the midst of our fiscal year and are preparing to present five more pioneering concerts this spring. Our goal is not only to attain balanced budgets but also to ensure that every dollar we spend deepens the impact of our concerts and educational programs. We know that you, as a committed arts supporter, expect nothing less from us. Would you consider a year-end gift? Now is the time to take advantage of year-end tax deductions, and we will be providing special office hours on December 30 (8am-4pm) to assist you with your donation. Alternatively, you can donate here on our site with just a few clicks.

As 2013 comes to a close we find ourselves both humbled by your support and brimming with excitement for what’s to come. We hope you will continue to stand with us as we work, note by note, to provide unparalleled cultural and educational opportunities to Iowans of all ages. Thank you!
