Celebrate the arrival of 2022 with one of Iowa’s most notable musical voices, Maddie Poppe, accompanied by wcfsymphony in brand new orchestral arrangements and winter seasonal favorites. With her warm voice and sincere stage presence, the Cedar Valley’s own Maddie Poppe rose to fame as the winning contestant of the 16th season of American Idol.
wcfsymphony is committed to sharing live music with the community. Our organization has closely monitored the situation with the Omicron variant and discussed the risks posed to our audience and musicians at the New Year’s Eve concert and after party.
The 8:00 pm concert with Maddie Poppe will continue as planned in the Gallagher Bluedorn Great Hall. Out of an abundance of caution, wcfsymphony has decided to postpone the after-concert party, where adequate distancing would be challenged. The party will be rescheduled into 2022. We strongly encourage all patrons coming to the concert to wear masks. Masks will be available at the door for those that do not have them.
