wcfsymphony returns! Our first concert for live audiences since the start of the pandemic is part of the 2021 My Waterloo Days celebration. Pauline Barrett Artistic Director & Conductor Jason Weinberger leads the full orchestra in a program of inspiring orchestral classics, including movements from Symphony no. 41 by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Symphony no. 7 by Ludwig van Beethoven, Slavonic Dances by Antonin Dvorak, and Symphony no 4 by Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky. In addition, the performance features Adoration by African American composer Florence Price and other musical surprises.
Limited socially distanced seating is available in the Upper Plaza level of the Riverloop Amphitheatre, in groups of up to 3-4 patrons. Patrons reserving space in this area should plan to bring lawn chairs or blankets. While the concert is free and open to the public, patrons wishing to sit in the designated socially distanced area must make a reservation in advance. Seating in all other areas of the Amphitheatre will be general admission and does not require a reservation.
